At about 4:20PM on Monday, February 26, 2024, Slacker announced on 101 The Fox that he made the decision to retire… but he’s not going anywhere just yet! The Slacker Afternoon Show will continue a while longer. We’ll honor Slacker’s incredible 30+ year career on Kansas City Radio with great guests. We’ll celebrate 40+ years of Kansas City’s Classic Rock on 101 The Fox. And we’ll celebrate YOU: his Slacker Backers.
