Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale LOVED Skid Row growing up, and now she gets to help them out on the road!
When Skid Row and former frontman Erik Gronwall parted ways amicably earlier this year, the band shook the hard rock world by announcing Lzzy Hale would fill in. For nearly two decades, Halestorm has been one of hard rock’s biggest artists – and Hale’s powerful voice is a major reason why. She has all the grit, power, and range the best rock singers need; and all of the sudden Skid Row probably has more buzz than at any point since the early ’90’s.
And, perhaps just as importantly, Hale has carried love of this music with her all her life.
Skid Row’s official YouTube page has been sharing fan-filmed performances from Lzzy Hale’s debut live set with the band. Here’s “18 & Life”
Lzzy also brought along Halestorm guitarist Joe Hottinger to join the fun. He hops on stage for “Youth Gone Wild”.
Meanwhile, former frontman Sebastian Bach says he’s open to reunion talks.
How do you think Lzzy Hale is doing fronting Skid Row for this stretch? Comment and let us know.
